beautiful start to my day.

I had an early morning shoot today, back up at Jetton Park on the lake, while the temps were still in theh 70's!  It so much fun watching kids explore ALL that a park offers....rocks, sticks, pine cones, water, sand, dirt, mud...the list just goes on!  I love capturing true life moments.  When parents think that things are not quite going so well, that's when the best moments are often captured!  Remember, my style of photography does not require everyone to sit still, face me, and say "cheese"!!!!  :)  Here's a sneak peak for you to enjoy!

I had a great time photographing this sweet family for the 3rd time, as they have added yet another precious baby to their family!  And after having two super cute boys, they now have a adorable little girl!!  so fun.  Christina wanted to caputure the tinyness of sweet Caroline, while also having some "3-yr-old" pictures of her oldest and a few shots of their "new" family.  I think we got it all!!  Here's your sneak peak...

introducing....Ethan

 I met a smiley baby boy yesterday, named Ethan!  He ha the most beautiful head of brown hair--typically you don't see this color on babies, but it was so pretty!  (I mean, handsome....sorry!)  Anyway, his mom and dad are so in love and I just LOVE how that was captured in some of these shots.  I hope you like them!!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ethan's baby cousin, , was born just a few weeks before him.  Of course, we had to put the two cuties together for a few shots!!

fun on the lake...

...just not really "on" the lake!!  I had a super fun session on Thursday up at Jetton park and I think ALL of us wish we were on one of the boats or waverunners we were watching run around on the lake!  We had fun exploring paths and sandy beaches, and patches of dandelions and pine cones though!!  Amy, here's your sneak peak!

introducing Lila!

Yesterday I met the sweetest family ever!  I just love meeting someone for the first time and just "clicking" as if you've known each other forever!  That's how it felt with Amy and her precious daughter, Lila, yesterday.  Amy agrees with me that babies grow to quickly!!  I'm so glad that they had me come over to help capture Lila's newborn sweetness through my lens before this stage is all gone!  Here is a sneak peak Amy! 

I love how round bellies and tiny belly buttons are only cute on babies!

Busy feet!!

Last night I had a BUSY little bee on my hands!!  Precious Connor is a typical 1yr. old boy....constantly moving:)  It was so fun playing with him (ie., chasing him!) because he smiled almost the whole time!!  So sweet!!  Here are some favorites for your sneak peak Candace!!  Hope you like them as much as I do!

Love Story: Hillary and Michael

On Saturday, I spent the day with two love birds in Greensboro.  Hillary and Michael have a relationship full of sweetness.  The two were married on Friday and Michael's parents had an unbelieveable reception party for them Saturday night.  The details that Debbie, Michael's mom, put together were spectacular!  Everything from a turqoise painted bird cage, housing turqoise and lime green birds that she bought specifically for the event, to huge white lighted balls hanging over the bar, to teal and green cups for the kiddies to all shades of turqoise and green candy for the guests to make a "candy box" on their way out.  Not only all the amazing decorations impressed me though!!  I also loved that a hired Valet parking crew was available for the guests!!  And the food...oh the food!  How beuatiful can food be, really??  Well, I'd say that the presentation of the food was just as beautiful as the flowers on the buffet table.  Earlier in the day, I took Hillary and Michael out to do some "day after/in love" photos around town to help capture the romance in their new marriage.  I love so many pictures from the day that I decided to just create a slideshow!!  Hope you enjoy these goodies!!
