I had the joy of photographing another newborn this week (2nd one in 7 days!).  Baby Wyatt was born last Tuesday and it was so awesome to see how in love his mommy and daddy already are with him! I think one of my favorite parts of photographing newborns is getting the chance to see a husband and a wife become a daddy and a mommy.  It is priceless.  THe way they look at this new addition to their family, this tiny bundle of awesomeness, this incredible creation and gift from our Heavenly Father.  I just love it.  Holly and Andrew were so precious as they held and snuggled baby Wyatt yesterday.  And he was perfect.  Never once fell asleep, but was absolutely a little angel the whole time.  And the best part....his mommy and daddy purchased a Grow With Me package to help capture every tiny detail during his first year of life.  I can't wait.  Holly is a self-proclaimed stalker of my blog, so I already know she's probably hitting the refresh button on her computer to check for this sneak peak!!  Well Holly, here you go!! Kory saw some pictures I took of a friend of hers on (you guessed it!) Facebook and immediately contacted me to set up a session for her family!  When she contacted me, I could sense through her first email that she was going to be so fun to work with!!  I don't think I have ever had a client as excited about a photo shoot with me as Kory was!  Makes me feel all special inside or something :)  Sweet Jack is 6 months old and he was such a cutie yesterday!  Funny thing, I could have turned upside down and stood on my head and it still would not have been as interesting to Jack as the grass that he constantly tried to get his hands on!  He was so focused:)  We did however manage to get some super cute expressions from this little cutie!  Kory, here's your sneak peak...I hope you're pleased with what you see so far!

Yesterday morning I got to meet Baby Beckett! He is only 5 days old and reminds me so much of my little guy!  Jessica and I were talking about why all these other women can have sweet little 6 or 7 pound babies but for some reason we get stuck with the 8 1/2 pounders!  But hey, the bigger they are, the more there is to snuggle!!  Baby Beckett was such a trooper for his photo session yesterday.  And he is loved so much by his precious-curly-haired-blue-eyed big brother, who also had a few pictures taken!  Here's your sneak peak!

bellies and babies!

It seems like this time of year (specifically this week of the year!) makes me think of bellies and babies, since this was the same week that I found out I was pregnant with BOTH of my babies!  I feel like there are lots of pregnant mommas out there right now who are suffering from this incredible HEAT we've been having this summer!  So, I wanted to bring something cool and fresh to those mommys-to-be as they endure the heat by offering a special promotion!

T-Bigs: 12 months (charlotte children photographer)

This morning I had a hot and sticky session with some pretty people, who didn't seem to be NEAR as affected by the 200% humidity as I was!!  :)  This was Tristan's 12 month session in his Grow With Me package and I can't get over how much he's changed since I saw him last!  I know I say this every time I post a Grow With Me session, but I just LOVE the way that I get to know families and children over the course of a year!  I love feeling like we're friends, and not just stictly business! I love watching the children grow and change and develop personalities and I LOVE watching the mommy's and daddy's grow and change into parents!  So fun.  Here's a sneak peak from our morning!

Last weekend I had the pleasure of photographing precious, and TINY!, baby Miles.  He was so happy and content and wide awake when I arrived. His little eyes just couldn't stop looking around, taking it all in, checking out this new world that he is in!!  He has a very proud big sister who, I'm certain, is going to be a huge help to her mommy!!  Here is a sneak peak of this little peanut:

Double the love....double the cuteness!

Today I got to meet two teeny-tiny newborn twins!!!!  And boy, did I have a blast with them!  They were the best newborns I think I've ever photographed.  Seriously, even though they are already a week old, they slept the entire time.  They let me mold them and shape them, wrap them and unwrap them, hold them and place them as much as I wanted!  Oh, I could have just snuggled them all day long.  So sweet.  And these twins are super special b/c they have different birthdays!  Little Beau was born first on Wednesday night, and then sweet Bryn decided to sit tight for a few hours and didn't make her debut until early Thursday morning!  Here is a sneak peak for you to enjoy...

 


 

quick post....and then to Fantasyland I go!!

Despite trying to contain my excitement about taking my daughter to DISNEY tomorrow, I had time to squeeze in photo shoots with two unbelievably prescious babies today!  This will be a super quick, short post, because I must get packing....MICKEY is waiting!!!!  :)

6 month old beauty.

Yesterday I got to see how much sweet Ansley had grown since I last saw her for her newborn session!  Wow, she's still such a peanut, but oh so beautiful!  She has the prettiest eys and the sweetest smile.  Poor girl was not feeling too well for our session yesterday, that her parents drove over an hour to do (you guys ROCK!), but I think we got LOTS of cute shots anyway!!  Here's your sneak peak:

22 hours fresh.

One of my most dearest friends and her husband just completed their very first 24 hours of being parents!  Sweet baby Caleb was welcomed into this world after a LONG labor last night around 10pm.  I could not think of two more deserving parents to receive this most incredible blessing.  Baby Caleb, you have the most amazing mommy and daddy ever.  God has been preparing their hearts and their home for you for years.  They are going to love you and lead you the best way they know how!  I am so glad I got to meet you, as I have been praying for you since before you were conceived.  I can't wait to see you grow up into the man of God you were created to be!!  Bless you sweet boy!
